HI to all..

This is not an insight but something which happened to me today.

Please spread this so that people and specially girls may understand WHAT WOMAN CAN DO..

Women need to be brave at heart.
incident dated 15 March 2011
Today I was traveling to my office in a bus. A guy tried to touch me at WRONG places. I kicked him to the ground. Hit him hard on the nose and have left marks of my nails on his face and back good enough to bleed. (Thanks to my long nails).. The guy would think twice before doing anything now on. He anyways did not disclose his name and profile but I don't care much I have played my role.
Anyways no one came to my help but I don't care I know how to tackel such incidents and people because I am brave enough and am a fighter.
Guys think they can get away with such things and they are actually proved right at many instances. But now is the time to porve them wrong.
This for all the girls - never feel weak, you have power within. Durga and Kali should be your role models when it comes  to such incidents. Depending on men or anyone else for this matter is not advisable. Act wise, after all its your life and you have to protect yourself.

Yes, Ms.Sneha whatever you did it must 100% right. We all know today's time is becoming very dangerous and we have to need take care and become strong, brave, confident. Many times men feel that women or girls are weak, they cant do anything. And it is also fact that girls or women are really brave -strong but they do not express and bear. Now a days girls-women are becoming or some became very brave -strong. All of we must have to become strong-brave (both men/women). If we will not become, people will take benefit of us. Good luck Ms.sneha and thanks for referal.

Women are always brave at heart. They are already brave.however they just dont want to be a show in public. so they just leave these things. But it should be stopped. It is quite right to stop all this thing by any mean. If this is the only way it should be. if there will be some more example of this kind, rarely any person will do this. he will not get the courage to do this. So women should leave their hesitation to be a show in public and should take a step towards it. i dont have a doubt in the braveness of the women.

About the people of bangalore.. I didn't expect anything from them. I don't know if they even felt like helping.
@ Konkan: I was not in a crowded bus. I was sitting and seat next to me was empty. The guy was sitting in the seat right behind me.
Thanks to all :)

What I hate about todays women is that they are totally ignorant, we do not see eve-teasing that often in south India as it is seen in north especially Delhi and NCR, and women tend to ignore comments passed on them and some moronic girls even like the comments being passed on them. I have witnessed a lot of these incidents in a crowded bus, tempo and others and I agree with Sweta, whatever you did is justified to its core however, to the contrary what will you say a girl or a married women brushing her breasts into my back and taking the pleasure, it happened to me a hell lot of time so, do I have the right to scratch her face and kicked her publicly for the misdemeanor she did to me? Listen folks, I am not comparing....

Thank you all.. I will surely buy the pepper spray.
I also want to tell that this is not due to any glamour quotient. I was dressed in loose formal opaque clothes. No make-up and no jewelery. I did not do anything provocative, the only thing was I was sitting alone.

I have reflected that glamor of a women makes her to slip into the dangerous situations. A woman's necklace is her modesty and when she comes out of it she entices the flirts to tease and do their favor in a wrong way. I'm not supporting the male side but I request all the women to be modest but strong enough to face the difficult situations. Male gender should also protect the modesty of a woman bcoz she can or mother, sister or wife.

Your title says it all.....such incidents are bound to happen, but if more Sneha's show strength, then am sure there will come a day, when every such man will think twice before (mis)behaving with girls/women. Kudos to you and thanks to Kriti for sharing>>>

If somebody wants to play with someone's modesty , it is a befitting action taken. Self defence is the best policy. This is the reason why, we encourage girls to learn self defence martial arts , at-least to protect oneself in any eventuality where-ever goes.

Thanks Kriti

Really guys should think before they act. Our society wont ever be safe if such things persist. Plus as I have humiliated him in public I stand at risk, just lik the DC girl who was shot dead. But Being quite is no solution.
I hope I have done the right thing.
