I would like to slightly differ here, because in my opinion, it totally depends on the product. If the product needs to appeal to the housewives, or as you portray the bahu, beti, biwi, maa... then it should be marketed in such way so as to appeal this... |
I think it does work... the basic idea of Marketing is to sell the product, and giving the product a gender, changes the perception of the general customer towards it. This is why, TVS Scooty Pep is for girls, while Mahindra Rodeo is for guys, though... |
