Brief summary :
Currently working as Project Lead in HCL Technologies Noida, since 13/12/2004 to till date with Embedded Product Research and Engineering Group. Worked as an IT Engineer (Trainee) in `CMC Limited for 8 months in security group. Currently working with one of the major medical equipment manufacturer (TOMEY Corporation) in Japan in ophthalmic (eye-scanning using ultrasound technology) domain. Involved in porting of the above applications on Android platform. Mobile version of the above applications for easy access of the patients data. Project: Middleware development and maintenance for the following medical equipments. RTOS and Platform: Main scanning unit - UD8000: High accurate A/B/PACHY scanning device used for detecting Retinoblastoma. Scanning and Calculation Unit- AL4000: Portable A-Scan and PACHY meter used to detect Retinoblastoma. Scanning and Measurement Unit - AL4000: Portable B-Scan and PACHY meter used to detect Retinoblastoma. Technologies: Tx4938 (MIPS), SH7615 (SH2), SH7727 (SH3), ax51901 (AG9 Graphics Chip), T-kernel 1.0 (e-binder edition), NORTi 4.0, Hew 4.5, SH 9.2/3, CSIDE debugger. Summary1: The project involves development of drivers for scanning unit based on MIPS and SH multi core. This activity involves complete porting of EmPresent , development of GUI and integration with middleware (Bluetooth, USB, LAN). I have done the requirement, design, source code, test code and testing of these drivers at client location in Japan for all three products. Summary2: This project involves the porting of android on customized hardware with limited functionalities, testing of stability of android kernel using LTP (Linux Test Project). We are working on filtering the android framework components. Summary3: Cross platform mobile application development for smart-phones to ease the access of patients data from anywhere. Responsibilities: Requirements gathering analysis and evaluation for all the three products. Basic design of task architecture for all three products. Integration of various modules. Development ownership of few modules (LCD, SD Card) in Project1. Complete ownership of remaining two projects. Effort estimation and resource planning for all projects. Project Management, Client interaction, Development of base modules. Co-ordination among offshore projects and client. Get the new requirement request from client and work for requirement response includes technical discussion with offshore team and client. Make sure offshore activities are in line with customer expectation and on schedule. Make sure all activities linked with client are on schedule and as expected (eg. Billing inputs, raising invoices, Tracking of all issues until their closure etc). Earlier EmPresent Projects: EmPresent is small, stable and has a scalable Windowing System specifically optimized and designed for embedded devices. Its Complementary Integrated Development Environment provides quick and faster prototyping and platform specific code generation which empowers RTOS vendors and embedded application developers with time-to-market advantage and available on multiple processors like ARM, MIPS and SH etc. and embedded OS like Embedded Linux, WinCE, iTRON (NORTi, T-Engine), etc with event driven architecture.
