As a Scientist / Senior Scientist for our Application Development (Wine and Juice) team in India you will be responsible for securing delivery our R&D projects by providing of optimal support to R&D team.
The main function required for the position is
• To be a part of a small scientific team involved in developing new and improved enzyme products related to wine and juice applications.
The enzymes products are often complex mixtures of pectinolytic enzymes,where the development of improved
products is based on an in-depth understanding of the function and interaction of the different enzyme components.
• Building a very good understanding of pectin & other plant cell well structures as well as pectinases & other plant cell wall degrading enzymes
• Building a strong expertise about industrial processing of for juice and wine juice,
and develop lab-models to simulate (and improve) the industrial processes.
• Collaborate with Novozymes international organization including R&D, marketing and Customer solution.
• Be project leader for with good leadership skills.

You hold a Ph. D. in any branch of life Sciences + 0-5 years of work experience
OR
M.S./ M.Sc./ M.Tech. in any branch of Life Sciences + 5-10 years of work experience.
Relevant technical degrees preferred, e.g. within Food technology, Chemical Engineering , Organic Chemistry , Bio-chemistry or BioProcess Technology.
Optimally you have technical experience obtained within a variety of application fields as this job will have you and your team dealing with the basic science and various applications
