DESCRIPTION: 

Analyze, investigate and resolve client issues on JDA Specific Supply Chain / Retail / Revenue Management related products.

Provide analyst developer expertise directed at situations requiring a detailed understanding of database & application technologies as required by the software modules.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 5 - 6 years previous technical development experience.
• Experience with relational databases programming: Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with shell scripting: Unix.
• Experience with Windows Server, Unix (Desirable)
• Ability to resolve complex technical problems with little / no guidance.
• Ability to manage customer expectations with regards to technical issues & deliver dates.
• Strong design, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Engineering, or Math or equivalent preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides a variety of technical support to the client; including understanding issues, replicating issues, troubleshooting code, bug-fixing & testing as required for production bug fixes.
• Creates tests and executes scripts for fixing data anomalies caused as a result of bugs.
• Maintains direct communication between the customer and project manager as required during throughout the issue life-cycle.
• Completes all necessary administration duties in a timely and accurate fashion. E.g. RAS, JTRAX Time & Expense, trip reports etc.
• Keeps abreast with the latest features of enabling technologies and industry trends.
• Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing clients / projects.
