Exp: 8 - 12 years
Unix System Engineer.
Must have eight to ten years of UNIX systems engineering and administration experience.
People management and project Management experience is a definite plus.
Comfortable with all aspects of operating system administration; for example, configuration of mail systems, system
Installation and configuration, printer systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software.
Has mastery of 2 or more commercial UNIX operating systems (Solaris 10 and Linux)
Solaris 10 zones exposure/experience.
Vertias domain knowledge (volume manager & cluster).
Mastery of complex networking / distributed computing architectures
5 or more years experience writing complex scripts in a common administrative language (AWK, Perl, shell).
Experience installing and supporting Apache web servers, LDAP instances; understanding of middleware technologies
Broad experience with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Backup & Recovery)
Candidate with atleast 8 years of experience in Unix System Engineering and administration Experience.
