Bachelors degree in Polymer Science and Technology form Anna University, Chennai. Concentrations in thermosets, thermoplastics, rubbers and composites. Undergraduate project was in developing a Nano-particle reinforced epoxy nano composite using hand lay-up techniques for high voltage and high impact electrical insulation. Throughout the four year undergraduate course, I gained knowledge about various polymer synthesis and manufacturing techniques, process optimizations and testing of materials for electrical, mechanical, chemical and other characteristic properties.

Graduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering with specialization in Polymers, Composites and Carbon Nanomaterials. Worked with Graphene oxide and carbon nanotubes. Currently, doing a thesis on using carbon nanotubes to produce Graphene oxide nanoribbons and nanoplatelets for Medical Imaging applications and biomaterials.
