Plan and organize OEM training programs. Prepare teaching - Learning materials for Internal training programs Conduct Internal training programs relevant to O and M operations and Facilitate on the Job training Conduct Induction training programs for new employees Prepare On Job Training plan for O and M personnel during commissioning of new DCP plants and implement the same. Coordinate with HSE Engineer in implementing QHSE policies of the company. Plan and organize Interns training program and implement the same. Bahrain Petroleum Company - Kingdom of Bahrain as Instructor - Mechanical from March 06 - Nov. 06. Notable Accomplishments Successfully planned and implemented training programmes in following skill areas. Introduction to measurement systems and measuring instruments Basic Hand tools practice Introduction to Engineering Drawing Practice. Basic Bench work skills practice. Prepared course materials for the above mentioned courses and prepared job safe practices for various machines and tools to safe guard trainees from any untoward incidents. Initiated and involved in Rectification, Restoration of Machines in Machine shop to improve their availability. iii) M/s. Brakes India Limited (Automobile Component Manufacturer) - BITTC - Chennai. Instructor - July 97 - Feb. 2006 Responsibilities Responsible for Theoretical Input to the Machine Operator and Machine Tool Maintenance trainees. Handled theory sessions on Mechanical Engineering Science, Workshop Calculations, Material Science, Metrology, 7 QC Tools, 5S and TPM. Structured the course contents for machine tool maintenance trade (Knowledge and skills related to Mechanical and Mechatronics systems form the core of the course). Conducted Theory and Practical sessions on Erection alignment testing and commissioning of conventional machines. Industrial Pneumatics and Hydraulics Actively involved in the maintenance of Training centre facilities and utilities since its inception. Responsible for periodical tests (Monthly and Semesters exams) / assessments and for conducting final Trade Test for all the trainees as the Internal verifier. Responsible for keeping records of performance for all the trainees of the training centre. Planning and coordinating with mentors for on the job Training in various units of Brakes India Limited - Padi. Act as a trainer, facilitator, guide and motivator in the training programme. In short acting as Trainer Manager. Notable Accomplishments Created formats and records for maintenance of trainees performance during training. Established fluid power lab to impart industrially relevant training programs. Contributed many suggestions to improve the training process, recruitment of trainees. Contributed towards the creation of one-point lessons, one-point texts, models and projects for display and TPM training. iv) M/s. Larsen and Toubro Limited - ECC Group P and M. Training Centre Panvel Complex as Instructor - Dec. 95 - July 97. Responsibilities Preparing teaching, learning materials for the course on Automobile Engineering, Industrial hydraulics and its application in construction industry. Demonstrating the operation and maintenance of various plant and machineries used for mechanized construction. Arranging and monitoring on the Job training for trainees in various job sites. Arranging OEM training programs. Conducting sessions on Theory and Practical for P and M Maintenance Technician trainees. Notable Accomplishments Prepared the layout for Training workshop and Demonstration Hall at Panvel Complex. v) M/s. Gandhigram Rural Institute - (University) As Teaching Assistant in Rural Technology Centre Jan. 95 to Nov. 95 Responsibilities Conducting theoretical and practical sessions on Mechanical Workshop, Energy Laboratory (Both conventional and Non-conventional), and Engineering Drawing. Assisting RTC director in day-to-day coursework. Assisting in the preparation of project works for financial assistance from Government of India and other financial agencies. Notable Accomplishments Organized off campus learning camps for Energy and watershed development in association with PRADAAN an NGO in Madurai and Madurai Kamaraj University. Arranged On the Job Training for B.Sc. (R.T) students related to their Entrepreneurial objectives. vi) M/s. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchirappalli As Technical Assistant in Combined Cycle Demonstration Plant (CCDP) - Dec. 87 - May 88 Responsibilities Working in the operation and maintenance of coal gasification (Double walled boiler) plant. Working in the logic panel when the entire plant runs on auto mode. Worked as Shift in-charge supervisor to monitor the operations of coal Gasification plant in addition to its auxiliaries viz coal handling plant, auxiliary boiler, DM water plant and the logic panel (Control room). | ||
