Many times I hear that people are giving huge sum/gift(upto 500 million) to temples but I never heard about such huge donations for Earthquakes/sunami....victims...can anybody answere why.....???????...

Donations are made to temple - may be because people believe that 'God' will give their returns (since it is paid directly)... where as Earthquake/Tsunami will not give returns to their investments(donations)....
