Since 1999 with Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, Thal Unit, Joined as Management Trainee (E0) in July 1999 and presently working as Plant Manager (E3) in Ammonia Plant

  • Ammonia plant in Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd having a combined capacity (two streams) of 3200 MTPD (original capacity 1350 MTPD) with dual feed, Natural gas and Naphtha, on technical know-how from Haldor Topsoe A/S.
  • Plant operation includes Natural gas steam reforming, CO shift conversion, CO2 separation (Benfield process), Methanation, production of Ammonia (Synthesis Process), NFSS (Naphtha Feed Supplementary Scheme), HGRU (Hydrogen Gas Recovery Unit – Air Products Membrane Separation), storage and handling of Ammonia, loading-unloading of BTALs & road tankers, steam production of 160 MT/Hr capacity (at 100 Ata pressure) in dual fired (gas & naphtha) heater boilers and Honeywell DCS along with Advanced Control System (RMPCT).
