WHY NOT?. As a colleague only, formal interaction mechanisms, including shaking hands, display of affection by a simple pat on the pack or a hug are all non-contagious.

Yes!Individual can be accepted as a collegue as it is not an infectious disease.The person will be low on his/her morale so all we can do is understand the psychological needs and lend our ears to listen patiently.

Yes they are also normal human beings. Its just like other diseases. So you will not be affected just by working with them.
