Whether they work after they join school or not they need support of parents. Until they become capable of dealing external pressure by themselves, They need someone to really support them. In this world we r hearing many cases of kids gone the...

this is a totally biased and myopic view. my grandmother was a teacher, so was my mother, and so were my earlier generations and they produced kids who were par excellence in studies, games, etc. I am an army officer, recipient of international awards...

I don't agree.  A child needs mother's care only to certain age, like till it starts going to school. Then the child will go the school and mother will sit simply at home which makes no difference with the mother who goes to wok at that time. So...

LAnguage is a mode of expression. To ensure we communicate without misinterpretation or rather reduce the hurdles in communication, it is a necessity to upskill ourselves in the language which is common to that area/ domain. I mean to say that in rome...

Many of our leaders might not like it but the naked truth is that English is an international language spoken and understood throughout the world. The poor children should get equal opportunities and that can be achieved if they learn english...

It is a guide to art of living. There are certain things important in our lives. If we reject such an improtant thing by calling it 'pornographic', 'vulgar' and 'cheap' it will make no differnce. But We should always understand one thing that...

Hi Friends, This posting is my continuation of my earlier posting ‘Tips to make a good impression in an interview ’. I asked, ‘what’s the best way you consider for background check of a prospective employee?’, to a friend who is a recruiter in a company. I was surprised with his answer when he replied ‘google search’ as his favourite tool for background check. I realised most of us use internet extensively and based on our surfing/ interest/ postings/ comments an image is portrayed which can affect our professional and personal life. I found the concept very interesting and hence this post on the importance of ‘online image’. Adding on, I recently read somewhere that an employee took leave ...

Hi -- the concept has originated as an alternate to the police verification -- which due to red tapism is a lengthy long drawn out affair. The concept is good and workable, to the extent of verifying/ counterchecking unobtrusively. Care has to be...

I’ve interviewed MANY people over the years.  Some were rising stars and some weren’t.  What differentiated the two really came down to attitude and response. The “star” candidates among us projected the right thoughts, articulation and mirroring body language.  They think before they speak and they displayed a remarkable ability to maintain calm during the most stressful of questioning. Chances are if you have ever landed a job you have said and did the right things.  As you start becoming more transient you will be meeting with more people and thus the likelihood of doing something which will harm your chances will increase.  One time I was interviewing someone who not only had his cell p...

Great article, just a small addition: 10. Don't be too humble. - This means both by posture and by attitude. Sit up straight, you are the right man (or woman) for the job, otherwise you would not be there. Keep an open posture. If you lean back...
