I felt the as per the size and scope of rural market. The brand, company has to be big enough to support the distribution network, inventories and investment capabilities. So rural market can be best explored by Big MNCs better than SMEs.
Yamaha has a masculine brand image than feminine. It is a power brand and not economic one. Prises were also little high. I think this change of Brand image and getting into scooter market may not be successful for Yamaha
Actually Yamahas Brand Image do not support Scooter type Product. The most famous product Yamaha ever had Rx100 and so many later have a power brand than economic one. There is definite potential for scooter in the Indian market only if the product...
