Yes with out optimising inventory nothing works and information technology is to be used in every phase of stock movement.
malladi madhukumar  |  Added idea  "Appropriate distribution network."  |  2 years ago
Distribution of material should be planned in such a way that 1. Should see that minimum stock is maintained at thr outlet. 2. Proper display of the product. 3. Attending the complaint promptly. 4. Regular touch with top retailers.
sai kiran M  |  Supported idea  "Appropriate distribution network."  |  2 years ago

Amba Prasad G S  |  Argues in support of  "Aggressive Sales"  |  2 years ago

  entrepreneurs are made.
Vivek Kumar Srivastava  |  Argues in support of  " entrepreneurs are born."  |  1 year ago
being entrepreneur is pure natural capability .
Manoj T P  |  Argues in support of  |  2 years ago
Entrepreneurs are born with inherent qualities and need not be from inhrited from family/ parents. And if Entrepreneurs are made, then why the trained brains of  top IIMs etc are not at the top but still paid managers. Even history tell us the failure...
Sheetal Jadhav  |  Argues in support of  " entrepreneurs are made."  |  2 years ago
Entrepreneurs are made and not born. No one will be a entrepreneur by birth, they are made through their life. He may be born with some skills which may help him to become a entrepreneur. If someone is born entrepreneur then why should they wait...

1 Satisfied vs retained customers costs
2 Both are required
aniketskale  |  Supported idea  "Good after sale service"  |  2 years ago
yes shalabh m agreed with u ..major point is proper selling. if proper selling done then customer retained and provide more customers as well
Manoj T P  |  Supported idea  |  2 years ago
Customer retention cost increases primarily once the brand fails to assure the projected quality service and secondly on huge price difference with competition / loose on FAB.
NITIN DEOLE  |  Supported idea  "Satisfied vs retained customers costs"  |  2 years ago
yeasss!! True!!  infact the companies become great by retaining customers rather than finding new customers. If a customer is retained he relies on product/service a business offers, it means that business is customer focused is truly engaged in...

Dear All give a thought why our kirana stores are surviving ?  this are my personal thought , not meant to hurt someone.   Reasons are 1) Excellent CRM without any computer or data saved, say your kirana fellow knows you very well and your daily needs . many times he reminds about the product we missed , may not possible in our supermarkets though our systems are equipped with such technology but who is bothered about it ? 2) Credit facility which he can provide to his customers , so very convinient of payment options , can ever imagine that our super markets will come up with such facilities . 3) Free home delivery , though our supermarkets offer home delivery but conditions apply, say del...

I agree with you all, but one more positive thing for kirana walas is pricing. they do not have tax burdens, pricing varies from one to one basis.
Manoj T P  |  Commented  |  2 years ago
Apart from the above, personal touch, recognition of consumer & relationship plays much more; i mean the "FACE VALUE" pulls us more towards the kirana stores

THE BRILLIANT FISHERMAN   As King Parveez and Queen Shireen were sitting in their palace one day, a fisherman who was selling fresh fish was brought in front of them. King Parveez decided to buy a fish and gave the fisherman 4000 dirham for it. The fisherman was overjoyed. He thanked King Parveez and left. Queen Shireen turned to her husband in anger and scolded him for paying so much for a fish. King Parveez let her have her say but said that the fish was purchased and that there was nothing that could be done about it. However, the Queen was adamant and insisted that the fisherman be brought back. 'We will ask the fisherman about the gender of the fish,' she said. 'If he answers that it i...

It is very difficult to bring down the slandered of life for an individual. As the inflow of his income gets restricted or he/ she feels threatened, they become more choosy on value chain.
