I have been working with Reliance Communications since last 5+ years. Initial 4 years I worked at our HO ( DAKC ) in Navi Mumbai. In Nov. '08, I shifted to home town Ahmedabad by taking internal transfer. In HO, I was part of Wireline Program Management team & we used to manage different Intercity & Intracity OFC projects for BTS & customer connectivity. We used to plan & control projects at macro level & our team was responsible for completion of projects in all Telecom circles of India.

In circle team, we are the executor of all the projects. We have to plan the project activities at micro level & are responsible for project completion within specified time with control over quality & budget.

Brief summary :

I have been working in Wireline Project Team since last 5 years. Our core responsibility is transport planning, OFC link budgeting, implementation of OFC transport network, testing of OFC network with OTDR & LSPM and integrating newly constructed network with existing network. These are the key activities to built Intercity & Intracity network to connect BTS on fiber and also to cater broadband services to customer. We also construct 15 to 27 mtr towers to provide UBR connectivity to customers.

Project management is our main KRA which involves routine activities like carrying out survey, preparing budget, vendor management, material management, certification of site work, quality & quantity checking ( QSD ) with internal audit, keeping updated MIS and coordination with Wireless, I & C, OSP O & M, GIS and business team. We use SAP & clarity softwares as OSS.
