The import duty on such cars is less. It is an answer to increasing fuel prices and it reduces pollution. If more and more people buy such cars it would be beneficial in many ways.

South Korean two-wheeler manufacturer S and T Motors Corporation, in collaboration with Pune-based Garware Motors, Wednesday launched its Hyosung brands of 650-700 cc superbikes India at a price range of Rs.4,75,000 to Rs.5,69,000 (ex-showroom-Delhi). bookings for the bikes from April 20, while the deliveries will commence mid June. The superbikes on offer include GT650 R and ST 7. The GT650 R is a 650cc sports bike which is priced at Rs.4,75,000 for single tone colour and Rs.4,90,000 (ex-showroom-Delhi) for dual tone colour.
