A high school student in Kuwait has managed to harness solar power to run an irrigation system using sprinklers, an application aimed at reducing power consumption of irrigation systems and managing water resources. Saleh Mahdi BuSalha said the innovation stores solar power into batteries which in turn run a sprinkler irrigation system's unit placed across a farm, thus utilising the hot weather and strong sunshine in Kuwait to the most while also saving water.
