I support this statement of India being a miracle. Given all the difficult situations, we still manage to keep our sense of nationhood. As I added earlier, it is the beauty of India.

Indira Priyadarshini perpetuated immorality in the Nehru dynasty. Intellectual Indira was admitted in Oxford University but driven out from there for non-performance. She was then admitted to Shantiniketan University but, Guru Dev Rabindranath Tagore chased her out for bad conduct. After driven out of Shantiniketan, Indira became lonely as father was busy with politics and mother was dieing of tuberculosis in Switzerland. Playing with her loneliness, Feroze Khan, son of a grocer named Nawab Khan who supplied wines etc to Motilal Nehru’s household in Allahabad, was able to draw close to her. The then Governor of Maharashtra, Dr. Shriprakash warned Nehru, that Indira was having an illicit rel...

Call of ‘MahaDharma’ –the religion of humanity Although, it is a religion in name, but in real meaning – it is the call or invitation of humanity, –the call of becoming fully grown human being. It is not possible to ignore this invitation for any conscious human being. To respond at this call is not meaning abandon one’s religion. Practice of ‘MahaDharma’ is a special kind of Yoga (MahaYoga) practice, by which one can advance on the path of becoming fully grown human being, through this true self-development program. Actually ‘MahaDharma’ is a true self-development program for conscious human being.

A Sufi Story Once upon a time, a fox that lost its legs lived in a forest. A forester who used to hunt saw the animal and wondered how it got its food. One day, he noticed a tiger approaching. The beast was dragging a fresh kill behind. It lay down on its favorite spot – incidentally, near the fox hole – and gorged on the meat. After its belly was full, it got up and rambled away. The fox ate the rest. This happened repeatedly. The man thought: “This is indeed mysterious. It must be the god that instructs the tiger to bring the fox, food. I’m a staunch believer in god and if I sit in a corner without hunting, I’m sure I will also receive divine kindness”. Days passed and he starved and beca...

OK, lets say that a crore pages are printed (physical digital) all over the world everyday. (don't ask me how i got that figure - i had no start point; it has no rationale - it is just an imagined figure (and serves my present purpose). now lets say that only a percent in languages which i can read and understand . that makes 1,00,000 pages. (hope my maths is passable!!) right, of these if only one percent are of relevance / interest to me, i'm left with 1000 sheets of paper. only one percent, or 10, of these may be available to me within my resources. this means that if i read less than 10 pages on a given day (or 70 pages in a week), i'll be falling behind. every week i'll have missed rea...

New stores, new formats, new retail destinations, new… review of claims (various announcements made in last 70 days) by the companies in the business of retail says that next five years will see thousands of crore being pumped in to open over 4,000 modern retail outlets in about 50 lakh square feet of space across India. It was about 70 days ago, when the companies winded up the financial year and started making announcements of their newly chalked-out plans. The retail news section, almost everyday, saw 2-3 retail companies (across all verticals and segments) announcing their top-line growth plans and claiming to open several outlets in the next 2-5 years. For instance, the latest announce...
