Duration Continuing. STPRM/STDVM (PVR) is a unique software solution for various high end STB decoders, based on ST40 architecture. This stack is responsible to record television content in Digital form to a storage device such as an HDD/USB/NAND FLASH for future viewing. There are a group of STB decoders like 7105, 7141, 7111 and other 71xx series based on different sh4 based platforms having so many new advanced application features are supported by this stack. Responsibilities: Understanding and Support the new DVR Use Cases. Fast Channel Change Support (FCC). IPSTB. Metadata Management for Set-top Box applications. LivePause/CatchLive/RewindLiveTV Audio/Video Trick modes Indexing Mechanism(Time-based/Reference Frame Based) Smooth Trick modes Performance Analysis and enhancement of System Performance. Project Loader for DigitalTV (Airtel) Team Size 2 Platform ST40 based platforms Language C/OS21 Microcontroller and IDE STBi5202 Case Tools ST40 Tool sets, OSPLUS, STWorkBench. Duration 6 months DigitalTV from Airtel is DVB-S2 based set-top box, which has capability to decode MPEG4 transmission for Indian Market. This project was divided into two parts: 1) Loader: Responsible to boot the box and update the software via OTA whenever update is available. 2) Main Receiver Software (MRS): Main Sotware stack for A/V decode and display. Responsibilities: Loader Development and Integration Design and Implementation of HDI Layers for LA/FGDL for ST40 based devices. Optimizing footprint for loader to fit-in the required size. LA/FGDL porting for other ST Chipsets. Release Management. | ||
