Professional summary

I am a recent MBA graduate from IMT Ghaziabad (India). I also studied at Euromed Management- Business School (France) as part of an international student exchange program. Along with an MBA, I also hold a degree in Engineering from GBPEC, Pauri (India). I am currently enrolled in the CFA program offered by the CFA Institute (USA).

I have worked as a Business Analyst at TCS (India) for my MBA sandwich placement. I have also worked on a profile in scientific research in the Ministry of Defence (India) as a part of my summer internship during Engineering.

After my MBA, I have worked for a short time in a sales and marketing role in a telecom company called Matrix Cellular Services (India).

In due course of time, I got bored with the mundane sales job and I decided to start my own venture. I started a food chain with two of my college friends, but the business plan somehow collapsed and we had to quit.

From that, I moved on to be a market research manager at IMRB International.

No offences intended, but I seriously feel that the buzz about the statistics of younger Indian age in the world demography was coined by helpless Indian politicians who wanted to hide the inabilities of the govt to the curb the population growth...
Population a BOON...u must be kidding. There are a number of ways to prove it, Lets take infrastructure for instance. How many flyovers do Delhi have...over 50 I guess...but still we all know the traffic situation......Paris has 5...and the average...
The diversity of Indian culture has been vividly mentioned by Mr. Reddy. I fully support his views. The only addition I want to make is that, "it is impossible to make a genuine research report of so many diverse nations, if we take a single (uniform)...
This debate has to be set in context of a particular country. I am assuming it to be India. Indian consumers are price conscious. I remember my sales management teacher pointing it that the 4 P's of an Indian market are Price, Price, Price and Price. ...
I support your thought when you move from being channel-centric to customer-centric in your approach. But it would be a gross mistake by the brand manager, if he stops there and does not think more. This is because no consumer today would like to be...
