Closed captioning refers to the written dialogue of a film or show that displays on screen as it corresponds to what is being said. Its main purpose is to allow people with hearing disabilities to follow the dialogue. With that said, it is also commonly used in loud public places such as gyms and bars. The basic features of closed captioning include: white block letters against a black background, monospaced letters, a limited set of characters and lines, and the option of being turned on or off. The word 'closed' in the term refers to the fact that certain electronics are required to make the captions visible and therefore are not seen by all viewers, only those who opt for them. Clo...

In general this seems like a great tactic in terms of scalability. Regarding uptime, you may want to Google "amazon down june 6" and see the results. Amazon was down for a couple of hours that day which also affected their cloud computing...

Business process modeling enables you to model, design, analyze and generate reports for your business processes. Integrate your new and revised workflows, and define your organizations, resources, and business items. Defining and modeling business processes is a critical factor in improving business performance. A business process is a variable pattern of interactions that occur between an organization's components and its environment as the organization pursues its business objectives. So how did you get into project management? In my case it was simply a case of right place, right time - I was in a relatively small company that didn't have formal project management, but did have the need to undertake a major, industry wide initiative. I didn't run as fast as everyone else and the rest is history. I'm guessing for most people here the decision to become project managers was taken tactically, rather than strategically. What I mean by that is that few people sit down with their guidance counselor and seek out advice as to how to become a PM. Instead, what tends to happen is that people look for ways to advance their career from (say) software developer or business analyst...
