The scope of the assignment was to identify overlapping functionalities, impact of new laws and regulations (Lacey Act) and suggest different approaches for consolidation. Created questionnaires and anchored meetings with Business Users to gather requirements Conducted gap, develop business cases and define constraints, risks, and dependencies Investigated and presented possible implications on IKEA processes and systems due to Lacey Act Inventory Valuation System: Develop a system that values the inventory for IKEA on time, business, and product dimensions using various valuation methods to ensure complete and correct valuations for booking to financial systems, auditors and business intelligence purposes.
