THE CURIOUS CASE OF RAHUL GANDHI   Rahul Gandhi: 'I feel ashamed to call myself an INDIAN after seeing what has happened here in UP'.   PLEASE DON'T BE ASHAMED OF U.P. YET   Please don't be ashamed of Uttar Pradesh yet. Congress ruled the State for the Majority of the duration Pre Independence to Post Independence.. from 1939 to 1989 ( barring the Periods of Emergency.. Thanks to your Grand Mom Indira G. and a couple of transitional Governments)   8 out of the total 14 Prime Ministers of India have been from UP, 6 out of those 8 have been from Congress...   I think your party had more than half a century and half a Dozen PM's to build a State...   The Reason Mulayam Singh, subsequently came...

Today we have a list of networking site. These sites help us to connect with long lost friends. We search them and interact with them. We update our status. I have heard this a tons of times that someone has time to update the status but no time to call or meet.  It is very important to have family time but today we are busy in networking with those who hardly matter to us and are thus ignoring the real relations.  This is all leading to a different kind of fatigue. The networking fatigue. Many have already felt this and the networking withdrawal syndrome too.But still FB alone has 750million users.. We should better learn how to stop or we will end up getting so frustrated with no way out....

I don't think so, sometime its not possible to connect people directly. So, at this moment (virtual) network is better option which helps us to connect with them. It is upto one how he/she use this (virtual) network.

agreed !!! Social networking is good but should not take up the time which can actually be utilized to meet someone in person or call someone ... It is driving away the age-old face-to-face communication ... sad but true ...

i don't think social networking is an evil, if rightly used, we can build bridges over the gaps that occurred and can also use it professionally. The main thing is to learn to adapt it in a constructive way that it does not take you away from the...

In recent era we could find none of the clean hand politicians in our country. Just dont look at the pay & allowances, they enjoying much more benfits than what a common man knows.

The previous salaries were in the range of 10-12k ... if increasing these by 100-150% makes it 25-30k then I think it is fair enough considering the rise in inflation. However the perks should be kept on a check.
Darshana Sawant  |  Argues in support of  "Unfair"  |  1 year ago
If these people do not indulge  in corruption and draw this amount I am fine with the situation but they get money from here nad then from there too which makes the latest decision unfair.

well ... depends on what you are being trained on ... sometimes the direct way don't focus on the practical aspects ... Technical training always requires the old school approach ...

This might actually make things even more difficult. Games are always either addictive or boring and in any case this would not lead to a good result.

MEMORIES OF AN ERA GONE BY A young man asked the other day, 'What was your favourite 'fast food' when you were growing up?' 'We didn't have fast food when I was growing up,' I informed him. 'C'mon, seriously.. Where did you mostly eat?' 'It was at 'home,'' I explained. 'Mum cooked every day and when Dad got back from work, we sat down together at the dining table, and if I didn't like what she put on my plate, I HAD to sit there until I ate it..' By this time, the young man was laughing so hard I was afraid he was going to suffer serious internal damage, so I didn't tell him the part about how I had to have permission to leave the table. But here are some other things I would have told him ...

Very nice collection put on record. I remember all. 1,4, 15 & 17 can be shown to the young but the rest need illustrations on paper or photographs. Children of today cannot think of living in such an age.
