I am a metallurgist with 40 years of experience in the nuclear manufacturing field, having served Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India till June 2008. My areas of expertise are Quality Management, Material Testing and Inspection, NDT etc. I also have good exposure to HRM, HRD, Training and Certification, Corporate Communications etc. 

I am a physicist, a metallurgist and a Quality Management Professional, with experience in Training, Certification and other aspects of HRD, and also had good exposure to Library & Information Services, Corporate Communications and general management. I joined BARC on 1st August 1967 and was involved in testing and inspection of uranium ingots and rods, admiralty brass heat exchanger tubes etc. From 1968 March, I worked in Coolant Tube Processing Facility, RAPP, Kota in incoming inspection, in-process Quality Control and Final Inspection of Coolant Tubes for RAPP-I and RAPP-II Reactors. From November 1971 I was at Nuclear Fuel Complex. I was involved with Quality Management of Critical Nuclear Reactor Structural Components and Fuel Tubes in Zirconium Alloys, Austenitic Stainelss Steels, Pressure Vessel Inspection, Training and Certification, HRD, Corporate Communications, Information Services etc. I retired as a Dy. General Manager on 30th June 2008.
