1 Persistent performance
2 be yes boss man
indrojit d chaudhuri  |  Added idea  "commitment"  |  1 year ago
irrespective of your boss being a lady or a man, what consistently impresses your peers, boss, higher ups, practically everyone in the organisation is your "commitment" to your job/task assigned.
Prosenjit Purkait  |  Supported idea  |  2 years ago
Of all the arguments listed on this page, only Satnam has hit the bullseye. My personal experience supports his theory. Just be a yes-man, keep nodding your head, boost her ego, never raise your voice, and voila, you win her trust. Her problem is, she...

Dear Sir, I support, in any field, continuous performance will do a creditable image which is the only longlasting one. Other tricks mentioned in the topics are only temporary. Why even lady bosses? They also read the same subject, same...

I agree with the argument , things have stared improving , all the best to all IT professional

This is good news no doubt, but i think this is limited mostly to the IT sector. The manufacturing sector, for example, is yet to recover from the recession. So is the export sector. However, pink-slipped employees being recalled to their parent...
ALEX FERNANDES  |  Argues in support of  "yes"  |  2 years ago
Yes people who received pink slips last year are again been called by the companies to join them. Many companies like TCS, IBM, etc are getting back their employees. So no worries friends, if you have got a pink slip, opportunities are waiting at...

Great argument Amit It's a well known fact that we, Indians, especially the middle class, are easily satisfied, happily content in our own little worlds, and lack the will to look beyond our cosy cubicles and drawing rooms for challenges. A major part...

Depends on company.. I think companies can take better decision than us. Nobody in organization are paid too much. And we don't make comparison between Indian co.s and developed countries cos.. factors matter.

While it is true some CEOs have been (and probably are still being) overpaid, one cannot ignore their contribution to the company's overall growth, public image, financial position, market value etc. Considering the burden of such huge...

No CEO's deserve it.... CEO's play a vital role in the development of an organization and also help in the growth of the economy. A company will not blindly pay a person a hug amount, he gives his full effort to make it as a profitable company....

Great argument Kaj, but i believe it would be imprudent to apply the same argument to all sporting events across the globe. Anyways, it is too early to conclude IPL matches are fixed. Conclusive, hard core evidence is needed to support this claim....

I would not agree with your views Ms. Kaladeen. Going by your logic that smaller payscale justifies lesser output, one should not be working at all for any compensation lesser than that desired. A disgruntled employee should just quit, and find...

No they are not lazy, but their work load is less. Since it is a government sector the scale size is more and the work is splited   and given to many people. So you find them lazy, it does not means they are not doing their work.  :)

Rational sounds commercial and might not convey the message
ASOKE KUSARI  |  Argues in support of  "Rational sounds commercial and might not convey the message"  |  2 years ago
They say it "Commercial Break" and the ads appear. What is wrong in being commercial and thus being 'rational' ? When an ad appears, its emmotional appeal may touch the story line ... but buying any product should be a "prudent and rational" one...

1 M&A and Focus On Core Competencies
2 Consolidating with other small companies or by offering niche services or by offering similar services at a lower cost
Laurent Blondeau  |  Supported idea  "marketing strategy"  |  2 years ago
I think one great idea is NOT compete, or make it irrelevant: create a blue ocean (eg blue ocean strategy), developping barriers for new comers, and offering new levels of service that are bad realised or that are simply not adressed. The ability...
Prosenjit Purkait  |  Supported idea  |  2 years ago
I agree Mr. Reddy. The best tool that a small organisation has to compete with a bigger one is to enter a niche sector, and provide niche service and products to its target clients. This is especially true for the manufacturing sector, where the...
