Funds from developed countries invest in India, in large sums; they also fly away at short notice, when the economy of their own country is in doldrums! this creates volatility in Indian markets, putting Indian Investors in crisis.

How to ensure a better management? Attract Long Term Investment, so that volatility is minimized?

Is India has strong plan to Invest pension-funds in productive Stock market in a BIG way?

Yes, lot of possibilities are there for FDI but in the absence of clear policies on investment FIs are withdrawing th money at the time of recession. Govt. should make long-term investment policies, particularly in infrascture, Insurance etc. In case of long term investment guarantee must be given by for assured returns to FIs.

India is primarily driven strongly by internal consumption. Business exposure in critical unstable economies should be controlled.Continuous promotion of India as an investment safe haven with a stable market will be helpful in attracting long term Foreign Funds. Rigid policies encouraging corporate governance need to be sketched.

FDI play a wide role in Indian economy. it is very important to us. tapping is a big problem is also true but its natural. We can't stop it. we can reduce it by making clear and long term policies.

At present I am in US. I have discussed this issue with many interested person. What I learnt that they are ready to invest in certain key sectors where risk is minimal almost nil. Of this power sector they are eager. I have talked and planned to attract them in alternative power projects using bio mas whose investment is restricted to 20 crore per project. Indian electricity system needs to be made ready to purchase the electricity generated from this micro plant. Actually these plant can generate sufficient electricity to feed one village utilizing all the agricultural waste. So panchayat can take advantage. I will try and convince panchayat s on my return to India.

The Foreign Funds can be attracted to Indian Market only if we r able to generate some trust in the mind of Foreign Investors that they are going to get a good return on their investment in shortest possible time.
The Projects of long duration create less interest as compared to the projects that are completed in short period of time. So, according to me this is the best possible way of attracting FDI to INDIA.

Yes there is a big market for FDI in India but taping it is a big problem. The reason being few policies. Even though they have loosened few policies the market for long term investment is less.

So good projects should be approved by government which will increase the FDI and other towards india.....
