As far as my knowledge goes, there was a very tight security cordon around all theatres that were supposed to open MNIK!! i in fact have witnessed the way the Police brutally beat up the mobsters. My heart actually went out to those who went out there to carry ouit there parties orders!! It was brutal.

Who got hurt?? The shiv sainiks. What hurt?? Their Ego. In Mumbai, they were beaten ruthlessly and could not really achieve their goal. this is a first for them. Public was never a part of this fiasco. wherever the Police were able to avoid the fracas, public have gone and viewed the film. The only danage done was to the hoardings and posters, all of it Producers money. Minimum damage. I would have understood if the film reels were destroyed!!

In a nutshell:

Shiv Sena got the beating of their life and their ego and sentiment is hurt. They are the ones at the firing end and not the public neither the film makers. This is the real picture!!

Mr Nitin, I have tried to answer the questions put up by you, indeed an intresting topic.I hope more replies will be posted.

01 WHAT WAS THE COST INVOLVED?  

I believe that the cost was paid by the public, that is we. We had to go through different demonstrations, and holiganism.We are the ones whose property has been destroyed.I take the liberty to say “OUR PROPERTY” because what ever it will take to restore things will be done at our cost

02 WHAT BENEFIT WE HAVE GOT? WE MEANS PUBLIC              

I think that the public had no benefit other than our patience was tested, as we sat nibbling our nails waiting to see if the movie will finaly see the light of the day.

03 WHO HAS RECEIVED MAXIMUM BENEFIT FROM THIS REALITY SHOW...SRK OR SHIV SENA?    

Both the parties had their benefit and loss, but I believe SRK got more followers                                                                                       

04 IS GOVERNMENT (CENTRAL AND STATE BOTH) PLAYED THEIR ROLES IN THIS MEGA SHOW...BIASED OR UNBIASED?                  

I think both were waiting to see which side gets more strong so as to put in their muscle power there and finally tell the public that we were with you.                    

05 JUDICIARY IS INACTIVE? WHICH IS IMPORTANT JUDICIARY, DEMOCRACY AND AT WHAT COST?    

Difficult question, I don’t think I can answer this one right now, maybe i will come back to this latter on.

Democaracy in India has different meanings.....
In India, we do not have democracy, we got mob rule in India.

Without any reason , Shivsena has targeted the movie MNIK, where Shiv Sena & SRK cashed on it.
Shiv sena wants to be in news & they acquired this route by targeting SRK & IPL. In the end, result is public loss & damage, where Movie will make the profits and shiv sena in headlines.

Our Indian laws fail to create fear in the eyes of law breakers. India is ruled by mob rule not by the democracy.

I am also curious to know the collections for this film, and how much share is Shiv Sena asking? as it had a major hand in promoting the film through its -ve campaign strategy.
