Am I At Fault Sir?

Sir,

I'm Raghu Ganti from Hyderabad. Ive attended an interview at Deliotte on 30/06/2012 Saturday for Customer Service for the role "Admin Asst" for US Leadership Dept. I had given all rounds of interview and my Manger round was conducted by Ms.Prashanti.
On 4th of July I was called by Ms.Pratibha Viswanath from HR Dept and sent an e-mail to me saying I was selected for Deliotte and asked me to scan all my Education & Work Experience documents and send it over, for which i have sent over all my documents.

On 13/07/2012 I got a call from Mr.Rajesh from HR dept saying i was selected to work for Deliotte and discussed my Pay Package and Date of Joining which was scheduled for 06/08/2012.

Today on 17/07/2012 i again got a call from Mr.Rajesh saying that they are re-considering my profile.

The Reason: I don't have 15yrs of Education and I have completed my graduation in distance education.

Sir, Ive mentioned on my resume that I'm pursuing my Post Graduation from University of Hyderabad and while on the 1st round of Interview and as well as on the Manger round i have discussed everything about my education and my work experience with honesty and integrity. I did not lie about anything in regards to the information i have provided to Deliotte.
 I have informed the same to the Manager and the HR who had taken my first round of interview.

I do not understand why the confusion now about my education sir?

I am a person with honesty and integrity and respect my work. I don't find a reason to lie or hide things with Deloitte Human Resource Dept sir. Ive put in a lot of hopes on this job and wanted to prove my caliber and grow in the Organization. But, I was mislead without any fault from my end.
