Nikkei (Japanese Index) was trading at ~39k in late 80s - currently the same is around 9k. If you see the graph the fall is kinda steady.
- Does investing for "long term" make sense?
- What is the reason for the steady fall?
- What is the guarantee that our Sensex will not go Nikkei's way.
Found the question
"An some one explain the fall of Nikkei in past 30 years?"
interesting?
