Hi.... what i feel is

Good H.R. management in a multinational company comes down to getting the right people in the right jobs in the right places at the right times and at the right cost. These international managers must then be meshed into a cohesive network in which they quickly identify and leverage good ideas worldwide.

The strategy demands global H.R. leadership with standard systems but local adaptation. The key underlying ideas are to satisfy your company's global human resources needs via feeder mechanisms at regional, national and local levels, and to leverage your current assets to the fullest extent by actively engaging people in developing their own careers

Mr. Rohit i definitely agree with your point that HR does plays a crucial role in achieving competitiveness in the global market because human resources are one of the few firm resources which have the potential to be transferable across a variety of technologies, products, and markets, and to not become obsolete. If a firm has obtained individuals with high levels of learning capability, then constant training in state-of-the-art technological skills ensures that the resource does not become obsolete.  so for a comapny to achieve an upper hand over their competitors then they should use their most important resource which is HR department effectively.

Hello Nikhil, I think the domestic companies decision to participate in international competition raises a host of human resource issues. The effectiveness of management techniques across cultures and the difficulties of adjustment both in the work place and in the social environment have been extensively examined and they show that HR plays a very important role in helping a company go global.
