Now I know why I never try 2be a "Leader" .. becoz .. I can not acquire this skill. People might have accepted me as a (Natural) Leader if they have noticed my 'way of doing things' .. often it will be different. But, I may read books written by them, work sincerely under them for my own benefit. Thankz.
Leadership is the art of making the right decisions. Can this be taught ?
Is there a system for decision making , when the factors to be considered are almost infinite ?
A technical problem can be solved by establishing a flow chart for the solution ; in fact there are expert systems for solving probelms in various areas ranging from medicine to mechanical engineering.
Good leadership is also dependent on vision ; the decision that is taken will depend on one's foresight and vision ; when either of these is flawed , we will have individuals like Hitler , Ramalinga Raju , Bernard Madoff ; such individuals will be leaders , but their leadership is doomed to fail at some point.
The true test of leadership is time ; when we cannot foresee the future , how can we groom leaders for it ?
Since the question is debatable - my answer is YES..!!
It is not taught yet, therefore we don't have much leaders..
It is not necessary that Leaders are good listeners..! those who are not.. are counted as natural leaders!? Why? Just because they have more dominating qualities and less listening ones..!
For most of the ppl - Leaders are those who dominates and to whom ppl listens.. !
But Actually true leaders are those who create leaders!! And once you are creating leaders, you are teaching them by setting up examples..!! So I believe Leadership can be taught..!
the basic requirements of leadership can be taught. This may even help in being a good leader. But true transformative leadership includes inborn traits that can seldom be taught. They involve the ability to make people listen and to listen to the people. However much they are taught, they seldom beat those who have it naturally.

I Believe Staff is the first (Internal) customer for any organization. Firstly we should build confidence and enthu in our staff and make them comfortable to become a member of the family through which we can gain end customers attention. |
We have to improvise our Higher Education System to have tie up with corporate world and take through all the cycles of the industry. Has to give higher education more in companies and workshops rather than classroom training. |
