I was Recently approched by a Tele Sales Rep From a Reputed FX broker . I got information that Resident indians Can open FX account and Trade international pairs . under the LRS - Liberalised Remittance Scheme They can Remmiet till 200k $$$ , but one of my friend Says FX trading comes Under Margin trading and Resisdent indians Cannot Trade in Derviaties Or margin products
i am confused -- if any one has right info Plz Update me
Hii Dear, This is a mis selling that is happening in the market. As per RBI guidelines in April 2011, INDIVIDUALS who does not have exposure in International Currency CANNOT trade in International Forex.
