I dont think so that caste really matters. The main thing is that both of them have trust ie. belief, respect,care and liking for each other.

We are Indians and about all do follow culture and tradintion. If at all it comes to a love marraige then entire ifs and buts vanishes but if its an arranged one then caste and religion will matter a lot.What the offspring will have then like surname, upbringing, values and what is called sanskar. Let marraige heve its typical essence and dont mix it with caste and religion. what remains even after the death is "Relationship"

when trust, understanding, respect and love is there between two people than nothing matters..cast and religion are secondary things.

I say what matters is character of person, not caste or religion. So don't care about caste and religion and follow love.

repeat repeat title is good but now a days love marriages are not good becuase after marriage so many issues will happen with couple and they are immediately taking the divorce with one mint waiting with painful loss

What is the importance of this question ? LOVE IS VERY IMPORTANT WHILE U LOVE SOME ONE LOVE THE ONE OF YOUR OWN RELIGION, CUSTOM,CASTE ...........that shall have no problem this is wat i feel

Tina , Shivendar ,Shrni ,thumbs up for u Suresh i say YES/NO for u BECAUSE only love cant make our family it makes my family as we grow up with them for whole life finally leave them if opposed for cast and things do love and marry ur own caste religion u ll have a happy our family .. and yeah this is INDIA we need to look out for the same cast and religion if not as i have seen 95% are not happy

I agree , answer sud b NO.but country like India..is this really possible..no..and also to b frank it can not b sucessful...when u marry a girl of other caste,it'l b difficult for that girl to adjust in ur family because that girl may not b khowing ur culture..Mostly this different caste marriage happen in case of love marriage,Which is not sucessful in 90% case..unlike foreign countries in India ,a marriage meanz a permanent mingle of two souls...that's why arrange marriage in same caste is more sucessful..

These are the psychological territories which are created by human itself. Cast should not be seen while at the time of getting married. The love and affection shared by both plus the tendency of long lastness should be taken into consideration while making decisions regarding marriage. Pure love has no boundaries, no territories and not a single thing except love and understanding between both persons. It can be easily seen after having a look at modern society that even gender is not considered these days. Going through the arguments I realized that most of the persons know that it's wrong but it's the culture of this society so they are following these for the sake of culture. But that's not the right move here I think, that should be changed. Some one should take the move and lead the nation to a better place to live.
