i am taking ccna exam this 29th, so far am good with basic configs(routers), still need to get grip on subnetting, routing protocols, stp and ipv6. any suggestions on going about these few weeks. thanks
I think Anoop, you are suffering with a fear out of nervousness because you never had any experience. But friend, don't let these thinks come over you. They'll make you lose your confidence. Any competitive exam needs confidence the most. There are many students who don't even have a single bit experience in CCNA but still they crack exams with good marks. Be sure buddy, you can also do it. You just need confidence in yourself. Don't let yourself lose it. My suggestion is, solve as many papers as you can. Right at this moment thats the only way to crack exam. I know you can do it.
im a telecom engineer, and persuing PDGM in Telecom Management. Shuld i do CCNA cirtification. Most of the salyabus is covered in our course.
Iam confused about the course as it is divided in two parts.. Help me in this regards.. and from where can i do the course self study or program as i m doing full time PGDM.
well you could do that, especially with a lot of help today you get with dumps and other question ares. but thats not the true way of studying .. am not preparing for this exam as i would for a collage exam.. tell me one thing "how do you count experience in terms of years or knowledge". i have never ever worked on a real router or for that matter have seen it physically but you put me "on the line" today am not scared to do it. this is the what i have learnt in this journey of my preparation "raise your -chin up and get ready to face the situation". so its not about passing exam with one week preparation or one month. its what you learn in that period. boy! am getting so philosophical...... whooo hoooo!
Anup, very few companies see experience today that too for a very high position. If you know the work properly, no company will reject you. Not even Microsoft !!! I personally have seen many freshers directly getting into good companies in off campus just on the basis on their strong knowledge.
Secondly, You think a lot !!! :) Don't worry so much man, right at this moment, don't think what will happen after the exam. Right now just concentrate on ur exam. Be bindaas and face it. After the exam is over, then start planning for the placements. Remember, when your marks are good in CCNA, no company can neglect you....
i heard people say that for ccna exam you need to know answer to a question from topic#2 inorder to answer question from topic#1... hey can you help me with this "how exactly are loopback interfaces different from sub-interfaces"
for ex- we use sub-interfaces for point to point frame relay, can we use loop back interfaces as well. if no why.
and somebody please explain the fields that show up in "show processes" on a router. how different is connecting a modem to aux port and connecting a modem to console port. if we connect modem to aux port what cable should be used and what cable for connection modem to console port. thanks....
