This little factor always bothered me,DNA is just the cell data memory. it may guide the cell to react to stimule but it is the cell membrane that senses and translates the stimuli, so ooes it not render cell membrane more important than DNA after all a cell can live for 21 days without DNA.

In my opinion DNA is more importent as it has all data The membrane work as passage It can not change the data
