Hospital administration in India is gaining importance after the entry of so many private hospitals into the healthcare industry. Many hospitals are appointing people for admisnistration. Many hospitals are now prefering non – medicos for the administartive purpose. What is the current scenario of health care administration education in India?

Looking at the current scenario, we can clearly understands that tht education in relation to hospital administration has improved in recent years due to the number of institutions providing health care administration has increased. But at the same time many institutes have come up, which attractively package their programmes to charge exorbitant fees from the students. Such institutions lack well-qualified faculty, training material and work experience to standardise the training programmes, as their concern is not to produce competent students for the industry but jsut to make money.
