As a layman, a just ordinary citizen of this country i feel very 'unhygienic', 'filty' & 'shameful' within me,,,,,,,,do you?????

I feel ashamed of CWG fiasco only, but on the other hand I am proud to be an INDIAN.

With this top class type of corruption is happening in the country but we still manage to to show growth in GDP.

Always B+ & think+ .

Current mishap may affect our image in global market, but this may be the lesson for us & we will take good care of such incidence in coming future.

any country, even in the west, such a massive event will lead to pilferage/leakage of public money. the trick is knowing where to draw the line. in a situation like this, a person normally does not do it for the love of the job - but the perqs, media coverage and maybe? a little bit of money. our politicians overdid the thing in diverting more than acceptable amounts into their pockets.

Yes truly ... Its a disgraceful event but this not the whole India .. It shows how the event will turn out if handled by wrong persons. We need to filter down our options of government intervention and go for more public-private partnership projects

Please maintain decorum of the platform. Please provide professional opinions only. When individual likes and dislikes cloud judgement, one does not appear good in the open.

The issue in CWG is lack of professionalism in event management. This image is bad for India. It is a sad commentary on efficiency, if after 3 years of planning and execution, we are in this sorry state of affairs.

This has nothing to do with patriotism. All Indians are proud of being Indians. Pride comes from our heritage, culture, our contributions to humanity, our global reach, our growth, our markets, our economy.... The list will go on. However, does CWG organisation figure in this list?? When it does not, why feel proud of CWG?? Criticize them openly so that such blatant corruption and inefficiency is not seen in future... When a product is hired at 15 times its cost, the hirer and the one who authorized such hiring should both be taken to task. The vendor should be questioned so other skeletons in the cupboard come crumbling down. If this happens and if it serves as a deterrant, it is good for India.

I dont feel ashamed to say so, But just if the same money is spent on people of below poverty line,atleast few would have good food for few days.

yes i do. but i think once the games are over successfully, as i hope it will be, every body be start praising the same organizing committee and forget all the misdeeds and crores of rupees siphoned in the name of organizing CWG.

Dear Friends,No need to feel ashamed yourselves. These are typical western characteristics and reactions. U2 and Bono did not come to Istanbul citing various reasons for several years, but when organisators offered him more money than they expected , he came from galloping , gave concerts, presented their respects to everyone in Turkey.That is it.

So never be ashamed.Be proud as citizens of your country and Unite!
