Oracle is very advanced database, it comes with its own programming language called PL-SQL and also a lot of sophisticated features. SQL is an efficient database but is not as evolved as Oracle.
This said, there are differences in how you can use SQL(database query language) in Oracle and in SQL server. SQL doesn't support the no. of ways a query can be written in Oracle.
So if you are moving from SQL to Oracle or Oracle to SQL, it would be a trubled period initially to make yourself set with the syntax.
You will also face some issues in using the UI tools, but then that won't be a major hurdle.
