The Answer is "just come out of the water". It is a psychological problem according to doctors and can e treated through methods like hipnotism. But that is not permanent , as it has more side effects as well. So do consult a proper doctor or a psychologist. It will help you. I myself faced the phobia when I was in my teens but then I slowly learnt to gel with water and now I can swim even in the oceanic depths.

i do agree with mehernath here, and its just the case of being unfamiliar to you, as you won't go to rivers and to sea all the time right, so its got more to do with being cautious while you are near river or a sea, that's it, its not water phobia or anything, water phobia is like every time he sees water he is afraid of it so stop being afraid of water, the point is to relax when you are in such places....

do you feel any thing while having bath or drinking water? then why fear? Yes specially where there is deep water and the place is unknown one automatically becomes careful, even a good swimmer for that matter. better learn swimming. For sure you don't have water phobia if haveany doubts better go for consultation and find out.
