English language has its own power. If we can become proficient in language is an added advantage for a better career. I don’t think that learning English will reduce the importance of mother tongue. But I also agree that many people can’t speak their mother tongue

what do you think about the same? Do you ever felt that your mother tongue is dying? Please share your views, thoughts, suggestions etc.

There is no language that can replace our mother tongue...English has become a predominant language because of the fact that we threw open our business markets to the world and survival solely depended on communicating our business language in ENGLISH but that does not in any way make our home bred languages, endangered...Not even in your wildest dreams...

Mother tongue is important like your own mother. You can have as many relatives (other languages) as you can but, Loving and protecting your mother (mother tongue) will give you pride

Well I want to say one thing also to dhigra sir that when it comes to mother tongue it will always be a national language not the language that a mother is taughting to her son. We always said from the ancient time bharat mata so the language is the bharat mata is hindi no doubt.

Well this is the most important question to me sameer. we have to speak in national language. however it may not be possible when people from various platform meet on a single platform. however i think our mother tongue is hindi and we should talk in hindi till it will be necessary to talk in english to communicate. We have incomplete concept because we try to learn them in english. if we will try to learn them in hindi i think our mother tongue will help.
