I am not completelly aware of an object model within PowerPoint that permits dynmic retrieval of resuls of data from a data source such as an Oracle DB, you could link an active object within the PowerPoint slide (ex: an active link to a Word document or Excel spreadsheet) with that document or spreadsheet having an object/DSN based connection to the data. Thus the Word or Excel file retrieve a data set that is then linked within the Powerpoint presentation.
