This is a very eternal and scientific query or an inquiry which has much to do with freewill and determination ! It was conjectured and brought in discussion by Sir Albert Einstein more than 70 years ago during second world war ...

Are we having any free - will to take chances and shape the creation of Universe, the activities on the Earth and even our own life

or

everything that happens is perfectly as predetermined - determination with mathematical precision so to say ... ?

I am a firm beleiver of fate. So firm that I beleive in existence of God (in my own manner) but do not beleive in praying him. For me everything is fixed. What is happening was bound to happen.

Some are special because they have the special stuff in them, gifted by the nature. That is what the fate has chosen for them.

We feel happy to say that "we" have achieved and we feel releived by saying that "missed it by chance/luck/fate".

When something good or bad happens we start finding reasons for the same in terms of actions that preceeded it. But dont realise that all that good or bad actions were well programmed to make it happen what has happened.

Yes there is certainly a mathematics behind it. But I doubt the 'claimants's' perfection of its understanding.

The para I have referred to is a BLOG in the Stephen Hawking blog made by someone else! I have mentioned that right below the para! I am not saying that Stephen says this at all. I simply am referring it to what reactions people have on the SH blog.

Precision or mathematical calculation, either way the world still goes round. Norway still gets the midnight Sun and the eclipses still occur as regularly!

More than anything, my feeling is that these are logical events that occur because of the pre events that have taken place. History is of the greatest importance. When there was the era of Devas, the Asuras were the terrorists. Even the description of Asuras was that they were huge, strong and had the effciency in wielding any weapon! So safely any action that we take which confirms to Nature and is not against it, we shall reap the fruits in the same manner! We try to catch water and DAMS break! Water is supposed to FLOW and not confined to a catchment!

We uproot trees and create buildings! Pollution envelopes us in return! We must believe that when Newton gave us his third Law it was the law of the universe and applied to all things living and non living!

But a lot of this is based on belief in supernatural. Quantum physics and mechanics is a science that deduces the finding of the universe, but interestingly if it says the universe was discovered 5000 years ago.... I suggest FREEWILL!

Freewill is the way to think and move. Because as someone rightly said FREEWILL is CHOICE! If God has indeed given us a mind to think, then I am sure that he gave us a CHOICE!

if God gave us freewill, then God gave us choice (heresy)

thus the truly faithful are the 'heretics', those who choose through their freewill

as opposed to those who refer to themselves as religious, which stems from a word meaning 'to bind'. those in bondage are those in slavery"... I think this is what I adhere to.
