HVAC is one of the major industry in many developed/developing countries. India has many small scale HVAC industries with gross turnover of just 2.5 Billion.
So, Do you think India has better market for HVAC?
Indian construction and infrastructure industry has witnessed a rapid growth (nearly 12% per annum), which is nearly twice the world's average. According to the HVAC and building services industry, it is growing exponentially in terms of volume and quality with the use of latest and innovative technology. The global demand for HVAC system will grow 5.1 % annually through 2010. The Asia-pacific region will outpace the world average, led by China and India. The other developing countries of Asia and Africa/Mid-East will also have strong gains in the market. The southern region of India is growing at a rate of 35 - 40% per annum and the HVAC industry is slated to grow at the same pace for the next decade.
The use of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is the latest advancement in HVAC systems. However, development and growth of the HVAC systems lies on the ever-changing technology and continuous innovation. The implementation of wireless technology for networking HVAC controllers, which often use sensors, have eventually cut installation and labour costs. Many engineers are focusing on further improving this technology through the use of wireless mesh set up that will work for wireless sensor as well as wireless controller networks.
