As the rates of construction are growing and at the same time rate of poverty is also growing,In rural areas(Villages) there is still vast scope of work to be carried out. Like road networking, drainage systems, electricity, water supply and purification, low cost housing..n so on. To take this as an oppurtunity to serve the poor and the needy and our farmers is there any such organisation which takes up (adopts) villages to provide infrastructure and basic needs or does the central/state government carry out schemes for the same?

The central Government has only one major project of Rural Infrastructure Developement namely "Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana" initiated by the then Prime Minister Hon'ble Shri A. B. Vajpayee. the states that have implemnted the said scheme are reaping fruits but in our country the scheme money goes into the pockets of local & state politicians & officers implenting a scheme. The private sector cannot have a major role because the rural development schemes are not financially viable. The private sector may be forced to develope the rural infrastructure of villages within 25-50 kms radius of their industry and lands alloted to the Industry shall be scattered and shall be in under developed areas. The lands so alloted to the Industry in that case can be given free of cost.
