Top Answer :
Both have its strengths and weaknesses. While print media has a longer shelf life and a higher OTS. Electronic media enables more creativity, reachs more people across diverse demographics and bigger scope of conveying the message. Cost comparisons tilt slightly towards print media but even that cannot be justified in terms of reach. For a bigger reach, one needs to spend more.
Hence you cant choose a clear winner amongst the two.

I found more than 3 reasons:-
1) Its easily accessible sitting from your home. Clcik a search engine & we get all related information. You don't need to waste time in searching for books, literature physically, saving your valuable time & fuel.
2) You are saving paper & indirectly, saving earth resources like trees.
3) In click of a button you can send receive topics to people around the world.
4) You can save the information immediately & read later.
5) Portable: You can carry an entire collection of encyclopedia in a small USB pen drive.
6) You get the UPDATED information, which is not possible in print.
7) Last but not least, in print media you can't ask question & wait for immediate results, where as in electronic media you are getting the answers within minutes on your desk
