That question got me thinking and the thoughts is what constituted my answer.

“Open a bottle of beer, relax on my couch and Wait!!! Wait like most of us do and have always done. Wait for some one else to do something about it.

Wait for the developing nations to blame the developed and vice versa. Wait for our elected leaders to meet and release a common 10 years agenda to understand how the "SUN could switch off".

Wait for my friends in the US to look up in disbelief that the SUN could switch off in the US too ( they always assumed the sun would switch off everywhere else except the US). Wait for the rest of the world to feel pleased that the sun switched off in the US also ( that will teach them to think they belong to a different planet).

Wait for the Taliban to declare Jihad on the sun. Wait for the hindus to blame the muslims and vice versa. Wait for the US to blame it on terrorism and increase their strenght further in Afganistan.

Wait for us to find water on the moon while the water on earth is being misused and abused. Wait and hope that some one will switch it on again before my favorite program comes...

Wait a minute!!!! These news channel would do anything to create sensation... The SUN does not come out in the NIGHT, you MORONS!!!!

Open a bottle of beer, relax on my couch and Wait!!! For the next breaking news....

What do you think your answer would have been ?

Cheers

Navneet Chandra

Yeah these days TV  and especially news is becoming more of an entertainment rather than showing facts and figures for that matter, all are into sensationalism which is driving things for them at the moment, even people are crazy about these things, just plain news is not enough, there should be some entertainment quotient if not then nobody bothers to watch that news, for the matter of fact Shilpa shetty's marriage gets more coverage than the copenhagen climate summit which is rather more important.  By the way tricky question to answer Navneet. I will switch off my TV that will be my answer.
