Do you know any thing regarding floating of Steam line connected to the Turbine? How to do it? What special care to be taken during erection?

when a pipe is connected to turbine for stem flow ,it is not rigidly attached with the turbine inlet.In order to avoid stresses at the joint of turbine inlet,we keep the steam pipe floating.this is known as floating of steam line .special care is taken in welding around this area.

@Aman: How it is possible to float the pipe? I mean pipe size would be around 30 inch with higher schedule. How do you float it? Floating means you hang it from top?
