mam iam Rohit and have completed myBCA from Jagannath Institute of Management Science in 2008 after that iam just searching for job in IT sector i got the one as a Web designer but unfortunately iam not able to continue that job.
After that as Whole world is getting under the belt of recession i didnt get the job in the mean time i have completed my Oracle DBA certification in 9i and new features of 10g
Still iam feeling there is a recession in DBA jobs for freshers specially now what to area on concentrate and also i have started revising my DBA concepts

for junior dba,i dont feel RAC and data guard essential.but will help in the race,sure.so concentrate well on backup and recovery(rman in particular) , and performance tuning.
still recession? India is in safer zone and here the recruitment are well going on.many companies now hiring freshers.so keep on trying.as far as oracle dba,you are in right move,revise the concepts,acquire it as much as possible.hope very good career waiting for you in DBA field.
