As there is being talk on the role of new media and its advantages of connectivity, my question is has anyone been actually benefitted yet?

I dont think so!! But I dont think if such a thing has even taken place we would be party to such and might even be invited to the LAUNCH!! :)

I don't think so Shiuli.....but things look good as Toostep is more visible than ever before, so it might happen down the line with the website getting more popular...but till now nothing has happened as such.
