Has Avaya taken a leap bigger than it can afford? The deal catapults Avaya to No. 1 position in Enterprise voice, but does Avaya has enough resources to support such an acquisition? Avaya itself was on verge on bankruptcy several times in last few years, has it bitten more than it can chew? Is this Cisco's strategic gameplan to outplay Avaya by letting Avaya struggle itself to merge Nortel's and Avaya's portfolio and fund cash for the deal?
Hoping different perspectives.
